I couldn’t have found without Eve and her ability to totally

home finding, schools, community awareness etc etc). Not only

the principals of the firm (Eve and Don Casagranda) was extremely

Taking the decision to come to New Zealand, from Ottawa in Canada,
has not been an easy thing for me and my husband. All of a sudden,
ordinary things such as finding the appropriate sources of information,
renting a house, finding childcare arrangements or simply getting
around took on cosmic proportions.
I didn’t know where to begin. That is, until I was saved
by On Arrival, who transformed an enormously stressful situation

Hello Don,
I have been in Auckland for a month now, having arrived on 1
August from South Africa with my family. My employer (MWH) enlisted
the services of On Arrival to assist with our resettlement here.
As expected, the services provided by On Arrival have been a great
help and I shudder to think how much more stressful and difficult
this move would had been without it.
For us, probably the single biggest concern at arriving in a
new country, was not knowing anyone that we could call on for
help. It was therefore a huge relief that we were lucky enough
to have had Janet Colby assigned to us. It has been very reassuring
having her as our first contact. From the first big smile and
hug that greeted us at the airport, she has made us feel completely
at ease and at home. She has been (and still is) completely accessible
and willing and I wouldn't hesitate to contact her still, if I
needed any sort of help or advice. I have come to regard her as
a friend rather than a professional contact.
On the practical side, Janet has been invaluable, being flexible
and sensitive to our specific needs. We are very happy in our
first home, which Janet helped us find. Despite not really being
able to afford to fully furnish the house, it is almost there
already, thanks to Janet's network of contacts. In fact I have
just received a fax from Janet today, with a list of items for
sale by someone transferring overseas. As a result, we are really
pretty well settled already - know the bus routes, location of
doctors, shopping centres and supermarkets, community centre and
plunket, etc etc.
Janet is really to be commended for the effort she has put into
addressing our specific needs, her easy manner and her genuine
interest and concern.
Thanks to On Arrival and especially to Janet Colby for our soft
landing in NZ!

Dear Don,
April has obviously told you what a fantastic time we have all
been having. Our first few weeks in NZ have been exactly as we
wanted them to be stress free and sorted, jobs, schools, clubs,
house, cars.
All of this would not have been possible without your service
but apart from that I believe that April went far and above your
expectation's and not only April but George her husband has been
a great mate and totally allowed our involvement within their
family.
We have found some very special people to begin our life here
with and will cherish the memories these first few weeks hane
given us.
Many thanks for your help and guidance along the way it also
has been a temendous relief to us to have you there.
